My Travel Blog: Fiesta of the Conversion of St. Paul in Vigan
I traveled to Vigan City, also known as the Heritage City, during the Fiesta of the Conversion of St. Paul. The city became more colorful and lively because of the different activities prepared for the celebration.
The Fiesta of the Conversion of St. Paul is an important event in Vigan. It shows the strong faith and culture of the people. A lot of people watched the event. Despite the new normal, people enjoyed the fiesta and followed the safety rules.
The Longganisa Festival took place before the parade. I had the opportunity to watch it, and it was fun and exciting. Vigan is known for its longganisa, and that is why many people enjoyed watching the event. I could not take a photo of it for my travel blog, but it was fun watching the event.
I joined the parade on January 25, 2026. Although it was tiresome as we walked for a long time, it was fun joining the parade. However, it made sense joining the parade as I was together with my co-Boy Scout members. This made the event very special.
My experience in Vigan was indeed unforgettable. Although the parade was tiring, I enjoyed every moment of it. I also learned to appreciate the culture and traditions of Vigan even more by watching the Longganisa Festival and the parade.
