Insight on the 2025 National Science Month Celebration

This year’s National Science Month is all about the theme “Harnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future through Science and Innovation.” For me, this theme means that science is not only about the things we already know, but also about exploring new ideas that can change the way we live. Science helps us discover things that may seem impossible today but can actually become real in the future.

In the next decades, science and society will always be connected. For example, new inventions in technology, medicine, and energy will help solve many problems like climate change, diseases, and even space exploration. These discoveries will make life easier and safer for people, and at the same time push society forward to more progress. Without science, society cannot grow, and without society, science has no purpose.

But I also think that science should be used wisely. Discoveries are powerful, but if they are not used properly, they can cause harm. That is why people in society need to set rules and values to make sure that science is used for good. Science is not just about curiosity; it is also about responsibility.

Science is not only for scientists, but for everyone. We experience science in our daily lives—like when we use cellphones, computers, or even renewable energy sources. Students like us should also value science because we are the next generation who will continue building new ideas. Supporting science education and innovation is important so that young people can also contribute to the future.

In conclusion, the celebrati

on of National Science Month 2025 reminds us that science and innovation are powerful partners of society. They help us solve problems, improve lives, and prepare for the future. By harnessing the unknown, we are not just discovering new knowledge, but also creating a better and brighter tomorrow for everyone.

Climate change and the Resiliency of the Filipino

Climate change is one of the biggest problems we have today, and the Philippines is one of the most affected. Sudden changes in the weather, like stronger typhoons, heavy flooding, and very hot days, are becoming more common. These happen mostly because of pollution, deforestation, and too much use of resources that harm the environment.

Because of these problems, many Filipinos suffer. Families lose their homes after storms, farmers struggle to grow crops during long dry seasons, and coastal areas face the risk of rising sea levels. These situations make life harder, especially for the poor, who have less resources to get.

But even with all these challenges, Filipinos are known to be strong. The spirit of bayanihan—helping each other in times of need—shows how people can come together after disasters. Communities rebuild, share resources, and give hope to someone despite the difficulties.

However, resiliency is not enough if the environment continues to get worse. There is a need for stricter laws to protect nature, better waste management, and more awareness about climate change. Working together as a nation can make a big difference in preparing for future disasters.

In the end, climate change is a problem that affects everyone, but the strength and unity of Filipinos give hope that we can go through it. If we care for the environment and practice simple acts of responsibility every day, we can make our country more resilient, not just against disasters, but for future generations too.

My Intrams Experience

My intrams experience was really exciting. I am glad that I had a good time. It was a fun experience for me because I had the opportunity to play.

I am a member of the Red Falcons. We trained hard and played our best in all the matches. The opponents were tough, but we still won. We became champions, and I felt very proud.

In addition, I also gave my friends support in football. I went to their games and cheered. It was nice to provide them with support and let them know that I support them.

Intrams is not all about winning for me. It is about teamwork, friendship, and experience. What I learned from intrams is that cheering for others is as good as playing.

Overall, my intrams was wonderful. Winning the championship with the Red Falcons and cheering for my friends made it extremely memorable. I will always look back on this intrams as a happy and enjoyable experience.
